Lynkeos download

The only thing to download for using Lynkeos is the application.

If you intend to load or save images in FITS format, you shall download and install the CFITSIO library.

To use sequences in AVI or MPEG format (even WMV, but it is very unstable), you shall download and install the FFmpeg library.

Please note that this library does not run on G3. To build a G3 FFmpeg library, follow these instructions

For processing total solar eclipse images, you shall download and install the "Eclipse chaser plugins pack".

For developers, the source is available for downloading, either as an archive here or on the Subversion (http://subversion.tigris.org/) repository. The libraries needed to build Lynkeos can be downloaded from here. Alternatively, you can download their sources from their respective sites, compile and install yourself.

A plugin software developement kit allows you to develop your own Lynkeos plugins without having to know the entire application code. You can use the "Eclipse chaser plugin pack" source code as an example.
